Kitchen Remodelers in Urbana, IL

Kitchen remodelers working in Urbana come largely from Champaign, where most of the 11 businesses on this page keep their address. All 11 have Champaign County addresses, and two are based in Mahomet. Urbana has about 39,341 residents and is in Champaign County. Modern Home Upgrades serves homeowners in Urbana and Champaign, New Creations Contracting works in Mahomet, Champaign and Urbana, and several others describe their territory as Champaign-Urbana.

Half of Urbana's housing units were built in or before 1980, which means 50 of every 100 were built before 1980. Homes built before 1978 fall under the EPA lead-safe renovation rule: anyone paid to disturb painted surfaces in those homes must be certified, with employees trained in lead-safe work practices. Remodelers who work in older Urbana houses deal with that rule on kitchen jobs that involve painted walls, trim or cabinets.

Reviews run deepest at C-U Under Construction (4.5 from 98 reviews) and DECA Improvements (4.9 from 72 reviews). DECA Improvements pairs interior remodeling with roofing and siding, and its kitchen work reaches cabinetry, flooring and lighting. It gives free estimates and a workmanship warranty.

Planning-heavy firms are well represented. Spectrum Design Group, LLC builds each renovation from a space plan around how the household lives, with project management included (5.0 from 4 reviews). Jackson Quality Construction works from Mahomet with designers who plan the kitchen before building starts (4.9 from 12 reviews).

Not every project needs new cabinet boxes. DECA Improvements includes cabinet painting in its painting work.
